So this post is pretty late but if you really like steak, then I guess it's worth the wait.
Now if you were to ask any chef about food, in association with the term "you get what you pay for" you would probably be lectured on, why it is best to pay more for what you eat and nine times out of ten I would agree with that statement. That was until I discovered Steak & Lobster. Boy oh boy, did I learn to eat my words.
Now without getting into too much detail, going off topic and getting too personal for my own comfort, let's just say the timing of the meal and it being my mum's birthday meant this particular experience carried a lot of meaning and me being me, I really love pleasing people by meeting their expectations with good food and with the help of S&L I managed to do just that.
I had previously read good things about Steak and Lobster on social media but wanted to confirm the good reviews myself. As the thought of a decent meal including either Steak and/or Lobster and unlimited sides, costing only £20 a head just didn't sit right with me.
But I must say, their service was immaculate literally from the moment we stepped in. Being the sucker I am for home decor, I fell in love as soon as my eyes met with the beautiful bulb like wine glasses that were sat on the tables just waiting on my Pinot Grigio to fill them with love.

Now like the name, S&L is pretty straight forward. You have the option to order either a 10oz rib-eye Steak or a 1lb Lobster served steamed or chargrilled with lemon garlic butter, both which are served with refillable sides of both salad and fries.
Yes you read right, refillable! Which of course I challenged being the greedy lass I am and to my surprise our entire table were constantly refilled as we emptied our side ramekins - each and EVERYTIME. Excuse my excitement but it was truly satisfying. Between us we ordered a mix of Surf'n'Turf's and the signature Steak deal option, washed down with Strawberry Mojito's and glasses of red and white wines.
Our waiter Donato pictured below even went out of his way to serve mum up a cute birthday dessert, which was a nice touch to his already attentive service.
Steak and Lobster's menu also consists of other options suitable for veggies, as well as lobster rolls, salads, a neat dessert menu for those with a sweet tooth and an impressive cocktail menu.
By the way I booked our table on OpenTable (an app I recommend to all fellow foodies).
Vibe - Chilled and laid back. You could attend dressed casually or formal.
Munch - Food was absolutely lovely, and the steak cut was tender and flavoursome.
Triple R - Balling on a budget? S&L is the place to be!
